Thinking Of You Card - PaperArtsy - Infusions

Happy Tuesday to you!!!  If your in the US, I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend!!!  We worked on the house and I fit in some play time.

This card started with PaperArtsy's Infusions.  I sprayed a piece of Heavy Smoothy Card (PaperArtsy) with water, sprinkled on two colors of Infusions, Lemoncello and Are You Cerise, and then ran a small brayer over the paper a few times going both horizontal and vertical, and then dried it.  Over this I stamped a Kay Carley (PaperArtsy) flower and some grass/weeks with Archival Ink Jet Black and painted them in with Fresco Finish Chalk Paints.  Besides what is showing in the picture, I also used a little Bougainvillea in the center of the flower.

The words, also Kay Carley, are stamped with Jet Black and then I used a ruler and a Copic pen to put the lines under.  Details added to the flower with a gel pen and shading with both a Stabilo pencil and Pumice Stone Distress Marker.  I used a stencil (PaperArtsy) and Snowflake Fresco Finish paint to add the stars in the background.  The paper flower are dry brushed with Banana paint.  The edges of the panel are distress and some white lace/ribbon wrapped as shown, stapled on with the tiny attacher.

Such inspiration, thank you Wanda. I've always sprinkled infusions then sprayed with water so this technique intrigues me to have a go 😀
