Wedding Card
Hello!!! I needed a wedding card a couple of weeks ago and this is what I did.
I die cut the Hearts Spray (ECD / QF) from white cardstock and attached it to another piece of white cardstock that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive over it. The exposed adhesive was covered with Silk Microfine Glitter (Rich Red from the Earth set of glitter). The scripture (Our Daily Bread Designs) was stamped with Archival Ink (Wendy Vecchi Potting Soil). The edge was inked with Distress Ink Antique Linen and then stitched (Tim Holtz thread). Using a waterbrush I splattered Distress Ink over the panel. I attached a piece of burlap from the Idea-ology Textured Surfaces set to cardstock, attached my main panel to the burlap, wrapped them with twine and attached them to a folded white card. The heart is a button with the shank cut off.

Reindeer Gift Tag
Happy Saturday!!!! We've got rain, rain and more rain here in Southern Iowa.
Have you been following along over at Quietfire Creations this week? There is lots of wonderful inspiration using the new dies and don't forget about the give away. You can comment on each post over there to increase your chance to win. All comments must be in by end of day Sunday.
This gift tag uses the Reindeer in the new Flourished Christmas Minis set (QF / ECD). I had a circle with adhesive on top left from another project and used it here. The deer is die cut from cream cardstock and inked with Distress Inks. I removed the liner from the adhesive, placed the deer onto the adhesive, pressed it down well using the adhesive liner (you don't want to get your fingers on the adhesive), and then filled the rest of the adhesive with Silk Microfine Glitter Vintage Pink (brush off the extra, put it back in the container, and burnish/polish the glitter on the circle with your fingertip). I die cut a cream cardstock circle and folded green card using ECD's Stitched Circles, adhered everything together, added a little ink around the green, and tied on twine.

Rejoice Card using a Coffee Filter
It is really windy with a southern wind bringing in hot air today. The temps are going to get in the upper 80s and then tomorrow we won't reach 60. Crazy, crazy!!!
This card uses one of the new A Way With Word releases, Rejoice (QF / ECD) along with a not new die, the leafy wreath in the Rosebud Wreath & Elements Set (QF / ECD).
My background starts with a used coffee filter that I saved. I crumpled the coffee filter well, rubbed Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy over it (turn the ink pad over and lightly brush it over the wrinkles), spritzed just a little water over the filter so the ink would blend out just a bit, dried it, rubbed over the filter with my hand to flatten it more, lightly brayered Fresco Finish Paint across the middle to lighten it a bit, dried it, adhered it over white cardstock wrapping the edges to the back and taping them down, sprayed it with Mica Spray Buttercup, dried it and finally inked the edges with Brushed Corduroy.
Rejoice was die cut from red cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the top. I removed the liner and added Silk Microfine Glitter True Red brushing off the extra and then burnishing down/polishing the glitter by rubbing well with my fingertip.
The wreath was cut from a light grayish green cardstock. Veining was added using Susan's Garden Tools and the Leaf Pad. Shading done with Distress Ink Evergreen Bough. Shaped it by pinching all the leaves and glued it to the card.
This was fun to do and I'm saving more coffee filters!!! I hope you enjoy it!!
Hugs, Wanda
