All three of these cards were for June Birthdays. Life was busy so I started all of these at the same time and made the backgrounds the same. I used white cardstock, a Crafter's Workshop stencil, translucent embossing paste, Dylusion sprays, and Perfect Pearl mist. Lay the stencil on the cardstock, add paste, take off stencil, while the paste is still wet, spray paper with Dylusions and then Perfect Pearls mist. Leave the papers to dry. Next I added the flowers and stems (PaperArtsy Lin Brown stencil #PS003) with white embossing paste and let it dry. I colored over the flowers and stems with either Fresco Finish paint or Posca paint markers. The Happy Birthday's are Quietfire Design stamps.
The turtles are ggDesigns stamps. The centers of the blue flowers are buttons with the shanks cut off.
The center of the yellow flowers is beaddazzles glued on with a large blog of Glossy Accents. (When I put the paste on for one of the yellow flowers I actually got it too thick and it cracked - oh, well).
I am entering these in the July 2014 Mixed Media Card Challenge.

Wow - amazingly beautiful cards! The vibrant colours are gorgeous and the layers so interesting! I so glad you shared these cards at the Mixed media Card Challenge! ps: I love the turtles too!
Amazing cards Wanda, I wonder if you used a stencil to color the yellow blue flowers or did you add those dots free handed on the petals? They look so pretty.
These are just spectacular Wanda!
So beautiful and creative !!! Love the technique you used. I need to give it a try.

These cards are absolutely fabulous, I like how you worked with different embossing pastes to give a difference in colors on the BG and the flower. Gorgeous ! Thank you for sharing with MMCC :)
