The
collage image on this atc is from Quietfire Design. The background is one I did a long time ago... you lay a piece of cardstock on a hot plate and then use color crayons on the paper... they melt from the heat. Be sure and use a piece of tin foil or parchment paper on the hot plate before your cardstock. The colors and swirls of the wax were perfect for water. Colored the cheesecloth with Glimmer mist... added charms and little beads. The seahorse was actually gold... I dripped alcohol ink (espresso) on it, dried it, and then lightly sanded the high spots for more depth (the picture doesn't show it so well).

Wow, Wanda, this is terrific! Love the background, and the embellishments are just terrific!
oh what a cool technique! I'll have to remember this one! Now where did I stash those crayons???
Sooo cute. I remeber standing like that at the edge of the pool, thinking I could dive in and swim like a mermaid!
Oh, the simpler times in life.
