Perfect - Wonderful

Hello!!!  I hope your Monday is going well and that you have a blessed week!!!

Quietfire Design has new stamps!!!!!  Woo-Hoo!!!  Right now all the new stamps can be seen Here and they are 10% off until tomorrow, April 10.

I've used one of the new quotes on this card, Life Doesn't Have to be Perfect.

I stamped the quote with Versafine (Onyx Black) using a stamp platform (Tim Holtz) onto a piece of linen from the Idea-ology Textile Surfaces pack.

After drying the ink, I placed the Flourished Frame Stencil onto the piece so the words were to the right side and scraped Deco Foil Transfer Gel (Therm O Web) through the design.  (remove stencil and wash) Once the gel was dry I added Deco Foil (Amber Watercolor) using a hot laminator.  It worked really well and looks gorgeous!!!

I die cut two of the Moda Scrap Leafy Branch 5 (Elizabeth Craft Designs), one from green cardstock and the other from Deco Foil Toner Sheet.  The Toner Sheet branch was foiled with Deco Foil (Green) green using the heat laminator.  The cardstock branch was inked on the edges with Distress Ink (Mowed Lawn) and Pan Pastel (Bright Yellow Green) was brushed on the center of the leaves.  The edges of the Linen panel are inked with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo).

The next layer is Gold Metallic Cardstock.  I stamped a background image on the cardstock and embossed with gold powder.  I peeled the backing from the linen piece and stuck it to the embossed cardstock.  The folded card is a deeper pink color and I brushed Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (Pink Flambe) around the edges before attaching everything else.  Ranger Ink Enamel Accents (Wild Orchid) and a gold metallic bow finish it off.

Doesn't that quote look fabulous even stamped onto fabric!!!!

Thanks for stopping by (or reading in an email).  I appreciate your support.

Hugs, Wanda
