If I had a Star

I began with a piece of Glossy Card cut to 5 3/4" square.  Ranger's Watermark/Resist Ink was sponged through designer Suzanne Cannon's Butterflies and Stars Spray stencil (Elizabeth Craft Designs) multiple times covering some of the panel.  Distress Spray Stain (dustry concord, shipped sapphire, pumice stone) was sprayed onto the panel and then it was heat dried without blotting off any ink.  If it had been blotted first then the ink over the resist would have all come off and the stars would be brighter.  I almost started over doing that but then decided I liked this.  Once dry I splattered white paint (PaperArtsy Snowflake Fresco Finish) over the panel by mixing in a little water and using Tim's Splatter Brush.

The edges of the panel are inked with Distress Ink Black Soot.

All the silver you see is Tim's Kraft-Core Metallic Collection.  There is a piece under the background panel with the edges distressed and inked with Distress Ink Dusty Concord.  There is a distressed piece under the quote panel.  Finally there is a piece die cut using Tim's Star Cluster On The Edge Die.  This piece is embossed with Tim's Flourish Folder.  The quote is a Quietfire Design stamp (If I Had A Star For Every Time You Made Me Smile) and it's stamped with Wendy's Archival Ink Cornflower Blue.  As always, the Quietfire quotes are hand penned first and then turned into rubber stamps making them unique and gorgeous!!  The edges are torn and inked with both Distress Ink Dusty Concord and Chipped Sapphire.  The quote panel is attached to the distressed silver panel and then to a torn piece of white mulberry paper.  The finishing touch is some of Tim's Mirrored Stars
