Hello!!! I thought I'd make a Christmas card. The beautiful calligraphy stamp is, of course, from Quietfire Design and is stamped with Archival Ink red geranium. I've used 2 of the frames from the Elizabeth Craft Design's die set, Curvy Squares. They are cut from their soft finish cardstock with one left white and the other inked with Distress Ink worn lipstick. The green layer is cardstock embossed with the ECD folder #114 Lots of Dots. The poinsettia is die cut using the ECD set, #1090 Garden Notes - Poinsettia. I colored soft finish cardstock with a mix of pink Distress Inks by putting the inks on a craft sheet, spraying with water, and dragging the paper through the ink. After drying the paper, I cut 3 sets of poinsettia dies. The pieces used for leaves were inked after cutting with Distress Inks and the edges of all the other petals were inked with antique linen. After putting the flower together, I glued 3 little bells to the center using heavy gel medium. Finishing touches on the card are 2 bead pins and line of glitter glue around the edges of the white frame.
I'm linking this card to the Classy Cards 'n Such challenge, Holly Days.
