Gift Tags

This first tag is made to be a gift tag to go on a package.  The sentiment is a new stamp from Quietfire Design.  We often pick things up for someone special because the item would be perfect for them and this stamp is a great way to let them know that.  For this tag I've combined it with fun stamps from PaperArtsy by Darcy from the set EDY13.  In the background I've used Fresco Finish paint (smurf, lavender, beach hut) and PA stencils, PS015 and PS018.  The quote and flowers are stamped with Archival Ink jet black directly on the tag and then the flower heads are again stamped on a scrap of painted (Fresco Finish candy floss paint) card.  The white small flowers are stamped with Fresco Finish snowflake paint and the centers are done with a Posca marker.  The flower stamped on scrap are cut out and and additional color added to them with either paint or marker and then a Posca pen is used for the white dots.  These were glued on top of the stamped flowers.  Finally I added some dots in the background with beach hut using the end of a paint brush.  The ribbon is dyed with extra beach hut paint and water.

This last tag I actually made and used for a gift a couple of weeks ago.  It was quick and easy to make.  The background is sprayed with Dylusion inks.  The leaves (PaperArtsy) are stencil with paint.  The dots (TCW) are stenciled with paint.  The scripture (Our Daily Bread Designs) is stamped with Archival Ink jet black.  A piece of washi tape, paper flowers, and a brad finish it off.
