A Barrell of Fun!!!!

Well, at least the lid of the barrel, a 25 gal barrel... you know those heavy cardboard ones with metal rims and lid that clamp on.  There was a benefit on Feb. 15 for a wonderful lady fighting leukemia and thyroid cancer.  She is about to have a stem cell transplant.  They were putting out a barrel for people to drop cards in and I was asked if I might be able to do a little something with the lid.  The barrel was already wrapped in a pretty red paper and a hole cut in the lid large enough for cards.  I painted the lid with Fresco Finish paints, stenciled (Memory Box stencil) the leaves with paint, add the white doodling with a Posca marker, stamped the scripture (Our Daily Bread Designs) onto tissue paper and added it with Fresco Finish gloss glaze, cut the letters to spell "cards" with the Silhouette Cameo, and added flowers and butterflies from my stash.

You can see in the picture below that the lid was about 20" across.
