CCC #4 - Shabby Chic
Lots more fun with the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge this week and amazingly enough I'm getting it done on the first day instead of the last. My "tag" is made with grungeboard and I used an "On The Edge" die to cut the bottom. Paint dabbers used for the technique are espresso and snow white. Over the background technique I also stamped some circle/spatter images using paint dabbers. All stamps are Tim Holtz images. The Mona image and quote are stamped onto a manila tag, colored with Distress Inks, cut or torn out and edged with paint dabbers. Inkssential white pen to color "creativity" and "art" and also for the dots at the top and bottom. A pen nib colored with alcohol ink butterscotch, twill ribbon, and a trinket pin finish things off.

Wanda, this is just fabulous! The "splatters" are a completely brilliant touch, and so striking with the grey-tonied backdrop. Such gorgeous details on this card-- WOW!
You know, I'm always beyond happy to get your submissions, whether on day one or right before the Challenge closes! They always make my eyes and heart happy.
Hugs,
Linda
