2 More

I'm sharing another 2 atcs today.  The background on this first one was scrap... it was cut from a piece of watercolor paper that I used to test the color on a waterbrush from watercolor crayons and also to clean off the brush in between colors.  I almost tossed it... gasp... but then cut it up into atc sized pieces that are fabulous to use!!  I kept it simple here... stamped the flower image (Hero Arts) with jet black Archival... stamped the words on a scrap of cardstock with the jet black, cut them out, dabbed the edges with ink... punched out the butterflies from cardstock, inked the edges, glued them on and added a pearl to the centers... used a black pen to make the border.

This background is Distress stained, embossed in an embossing folder, painted over the high spots with Pearl paint dabber and inked the edges darker.  Tore the edges on the image of the girl.  Added a heart sticker on the girl and silver leaf stickers on the background.. a paper flower altered with some paint and ink... ribbon roses colored with Distress stain.

Love these ATCs, Wanda, especially the rich backgrounds. It's amazing what a little 'misplaced' watercolor can add up to!

I love them both, but the little girl image one is especially great.
