The challenge this week on Theme Thursday is quotes and on 4 x 4 Friday it's textured paper. I've used both on this 4 x 4. I started with 110# watercolor paper, tore strips from cream colored embossed paper and glued it on the watercolor paper using soft gel medium. Then painted it with thinned Golden fluid acrylic transparent yellow iron oxide and then some burnt umber light by the edges. The collage image, quote stamp, word stamp, and fabric stuffed heart along with the embossed paper are all from Quietfire Design. The quote was stamped onto vellum with Archival ink black and Memories was stamped with Brilliance moonlight white. Monday, January 7, 2008
