I'm so glad we are going every 2 weeks with this challenge until after Christmas!! So I'm not actually late with this tag :-) As always, hop on over to Linda's wonderful
blog to read all about the challenge. This is challenge #23 and the technique is called Double Distress. Colors I've used on my grungeboard piece are rusty hinge, brushed corduroy and black soot. On the saying (Tim stamp) I used mustard seed and pine needles. Ideology pieces for the clock and the ribbon.. ribbon is colored with Distress Inks.
Terrific distressing Wanda and I love the whole design of your tag. Annette x
ReplyDeleteThis is a great piece Wanda. Would be suitable for a masculine card as well. Great coloring on it.
ReplyDeleteWow love your tag!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful tag for the challenge. Love the colors you chose.
ReplyDeleteGreat tag Wanda, that sentiment is one of my favourites, so apt for a lot of us! x
ReplyDeleteLove it! And I love that sentiment, must check to see if I have that one! lol!
ReplyDeleteWanda, this is spectacular! When I first looked at it, I thought you'd double distressed a piece of leather! You did the technique perfectly and designed a brilliant and inspiring work of art around it. Isn't that sentiment the best?!
ReplyDeleteI love it... very good job...
