I wanted to make a birthday card for a friend... she likes pigs so I went digging and found this old PSX pig stamp.. I'm so glad I didn't get rid of it!!!
Happy Birthday is a Quietfire Design image. The printed paper is from Tim's Vintage Shabby Paper stack. A piece of plastic mesh colored with alcohol inks. Pearl flourishes.
ooo and what fine specimen it is too:) I love to paint pigs,,,they make fine models as they tend to just lay around for hours:) Have a good Monday!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit.... that's one stamp I do not own! LOL. Love what you've done with the card, Wanda - the inked plastic makes a nice addition too!
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, oh. I don't have an English Bible here, but as I look at this card I know what you should write inside. I think it is from the Proverbs, and I translate it from my norwegian Bible, so bear with the translater: Like a pearl in a pigs face is a pretty woman without good sense.
ReplyDeleteps: how lovely to see a PSX stamp again. I have quite a few, even some of their inkpads. PSX was my first favorite company and I see from your card that was no coincidence!
Very pretty Wanda, I'm not sure I would have known what to do with the pig stamp, but you pulled it off fantastically! She'll love it!
ReplyDeleteI have one pig stamp, a little piggy in a bikini and it says bacon in the sun, LOL.
ReplyDeleteDarling card Wanda.
hugs Lynn
