This is a very fun technique that I have played with before. I decided to really change things up for me by using all colors for the lights group of alcohol inks. It was fun!! I did manage to smear the stamping a little but it still looked ok for the tag so I didn't allow myself to start over (even though I thought about it).

ReplyDeleteGreat tag! I love how you stacked the ribbons, too!
ReplyDeleteI used that same stamp on my project. I think that's one of my "most used" T!m stamps, lol!
This is so soft and pretty Wanda and I love how you did the ribbons to finish it off.
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I really like the colour choices you made.
See you over at Quietfire!
Wanda, this is beautiful! I love the soft colors and sweet stamps you used, and the double ribbon is such a clever touch. Challenging yourself to use the entire Lights palette was a brave idea that really paid off! Gorgeous art!!!
ReplyDeleteThis technique using the lights is really great Wanda. The earthtones are a little dark, really, and the brights are really...bright. lol. Your tag is gorgeous, and I think I'll try it with just the lights.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely tag. It's so soft and inviting. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI found the lights worked much better too! Your colors came out great, and your overall tag is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great technique. Your colors are wonderful.
